Historical Awards
Annual Historical Awards are given to Pomeranians by the American Pomeranian Club in recognition of Sires and Dams that have produced multiple titled offspring or have had outstanding performance. These Historical Awards must be applied for, therefore, not every dog that qualifies has been recognized. These titles, ROM, ROMS, ROMX, HOF and GC may be used as suffixes to the dog's registered name. Click the tabs to learn more about each classification.
ROM
ROM
Register of Merit (ROM) - To qualify for this award:- Dogs must produce 6 or more titled offspring.
- Bitches must produce 4 or more titled offspring.
ROMX / ROMS
ROMX
Register of Merit Excellent (ROMX) - To qualify for this award:- Dogs must produce 15 or more titled offspring.
- Bitches must produce 6 or more titled offspring.
ROMS
Register of Merit Supreme (ROMS) - To qualify for this award:- Dogs must produce 25 or more titled offspring.
- Bitches must produce 10 or more titled offspg.
Gold Club
Gold Club
Gold Club (GC) - To qualify for this award, a Pomeranian must:- Dogs must win 100 Best of Breed and/or Best of Opposite Sex, or;
- Bitches must win 50 Best of Breed and/or Best of Opposite Sex, or:
- Win back-to-back Group 1s.
Hall of Fame
Hall of Fame
Hall of Fame (HOF) - To qualify for this award a Pomeranian must:- Win an all-breed Best in Show, or;
- Win an all-breed High in Tail.
